Clean-ingredient sunless color, considered from every angle.
Bare North Tan plans to use professional Sjolie spray-tan formulas made with naturally derived DHA from sugar beets and sugar cane. The line is PETA-approved, vegan-certified, gluten-free, and formulated without parabens, erythrulose, mineral oil, urea, or nuts. Select formulas use a soothing aloe-vera base.

For us, holistic care means considering your skin tone, sensitivities, comfort, preparation, and aftercare—not making medical promises. Sunless color offers a cosmetic glow without UV exposure, but it does not provide sun protection. During spray application, the eyes, lips, and other mucous membranes should be protected and the mist should not be inhaled. We will review individual considerations before each service.

Why I started
Built from a real dream—and one step at a time.
I started Bare North Tan as an additional means of income for my family, as I am currently the head of my household of two. I also wanted to challenge myself—to learn everything it takes to start and own a business, and to build something meaningful of my own.
I believe in beauty, in looking and feeling your best, and in the difference a little warmth and self-care can make during our long, dark northern winters. I enjoy tanning myself, and I’m excited to offer Sandpoint a high-quality experience that feels healthy, welcoming, and personal all year long.
